REBREATHER DIVER &
ADVANCED REBREATHER DIVER

Rebreathers used to be only for technical diving, but not any more. Get longer no stop limits, reduced gas consumption and unmatched wildlife encounters in a silent diving world.

The PADI Rebreather Diver course will introduce you to the world of silent diving in a controlled no-stop diving environment.

The Advanced Rebreather Diver course builds on your PADI Rebreather Diver certification, expanding your knowledge, adding a bailout cylinder, and training you to dive to 30m or as deep as 40 metres with a Deep Diver certification.

To enrol in the PADI Rebreather Diver course, you must:

Be a PADI Open Water Diver
and a PADI Enriched Air Diver or qualifying certifications.
Have a minimum of 25 logged dives
Be at least 18 years old

To enrol in the PADI Advanced Rebreather Diver course, you must:

Be a PADI Rebreather Diver (or be doing a combined course) or have a qualifying certification.
Have a minimum of 30 logged dives
Be at least 18 years old

Not a certified rebreather diver yet? No problem – ask about combining the PADI Rebreather and Advanced Rebreather Diver courses.

PADI Tec 40 CCR

Tec 40 CCR

The future of deep tec diving belongs to the CCR (closed circuit rebreather) and the Tec 40 CCR course is where it all starts.

The Tec 40 CCR course is your entry into the tec CCR diving realm. Learn the details of proper setup, predive checks, dive planning, failure and problem management and teamwork for CCR diving.

To take a Tec 40 CCR Diver course, you must:

Be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, PADI Enriched Air Diver, PADI Deep Diver or show proof of 10 dives to 30 metres/100 feet
or qualifying certifications. Have a minimum of 30 logged dives, with at least 10 dives using EANx deeper than 18 metres/60 feet. If you’re not already a Rescue Diver you will need to take the course alongside your Tec 40 CCR Diver. Be at least 18 years old

Tec 60 CCR

Tec 60 ccr

The Tec 60 CCR course is the next step in tec CCR diving. Multiple decompression stops, managing life-support problems, and diving with trimix/heliox as a diluent. It’s a considerable challenge.

By completing the Tec 60 CCR course, you extend your CCR diving down to a depth of 60 metres/200 feet.

To enroll in the Tec 60 CCR Diver course, you must:

Be a Tec 40 CCR Diver qualified on the specific Type T CCR to be used in the course or qualifying certification.
Have logged a minimum of 150 dives, with at least 25 dives and 50 hours experience diving the Type T CCR used in the course with an offboard bailout system following Tec 40 CCR Diver principles.
Have at least 10 logged CCR dives deeper than 30 metres/100 feet.

Tec 100 CCR

Tec 100 CCR Diver is the ultimate PADI Tec CCR rating. More challenging than the Tec 60 CCR Diver course, it includes the use of diluents and bailout gases that are hypoxic.

You’ll learn to plan and make dives with hypoxic trimix/heliox using CCR to a maximum depth of 100 metres/330 feet while managing multiple bailout cylinders and completing multiple decompression stops.

To enroll in the Tec 100 CCR Diver course, you must:

Be a Tec 60 CCR Diver or qualifying certification on the specific unit to be used in the course
Have a minimum of 175 dives, with at least 50 dives and 100 hours experience diving the CCR used in the course with an offboard bailout system. At least 25 of these dives must be multi-stop decompression dives deeper than 40 metres/130 feet with trimix/heliox diluent.
