PADI Open Circuit

Sidemount & Tec Sidemount
Sidemount diving gives you flexibility and streamlining options. Plus, you don’t have to walk with heavy cylinders on your back – just enter the water, clip them on and go.The Sidemount Diver course will teach you the concepts, equipment configuration and dive techniques for safe and effective use of sidemount equipment in non-overhead environments.
Tec Sidemount goes a step further, introducing stage and decompression cylinders and the skills and techniques needed to use them safely.
Prerequisites for Sidemount – Open Water Diver and minimum 15 years of age.
For Tec Sidemount – Advanced Open Water, Sidemount Diver (if combining Sidemount and Tec SIdemount – minimum of 30 dives and 18 year of age.

Tec 40, Tec 45 & Tec 50
Bridging the gap between recreational and Tec, the Tec 40 course is your start point for Tec diving. You will learn all you need to make limited decompression dives to 40m
Tec 45 is the next step and extends your depth limit to 45 metres/145 feet and you will learn to plan and execute decompression dives using a single decompression cylinder to make accelerated decompression dives using EANx or pure oxygen.. It puts you in a complete tec diving equipment , which can be either backmount or sidemount.
Tec 50 extends your range still further, training you to plan for and use up to two deco gas mixes for multi-stop decompression diving.
Two or all of these courses can be combined.

Tmx 45 & Tmx 50
If you are already certified at PADI Tec 45 or Tec 50 you can add on the TMx specialty course and dive with helium in your gas mix.
Starting with learning how to analyse trimix gases correctly, the course covers gas planning and dive planning using gas with a minimum or 21% Oxygen and a maximum of 20% Helium in limited decompression diving.
A couple of open water dives during the course give you the opportunity to put your new skills in to practice.
Prerequisites for TMx 45, PADI Tec 45 or Tec 50.
For TMx 50 – PADI Tec 50

Tec 65
If you want to dive deeper and use trimix but are not sure about jumping straight in to the Tec Trimix course then there is an option to split the programme and do the Tec 65 first before moving deeper with the full Tec Trimix course.
The Tec 65 introduces you to the first stages of trimix diving to a maximum depth of 65 metres and qualifies you to make multi- stop trimix decompression dives using trimix with 18 percent or more oxygen as bottom gas and EANx and oxygen for accelerated decompression.

Tec Trimix
The Tec Trimix Diver course gives you the knowledge and skills to visit dive sites not accessible to everyone. Wrecks you couldn’t reach and pristine dive sites are all waiting for you. During the course, you’ll make dives as deep as 90 metres but once qualified, there are few limits.
As well as essential in-water skills the course covers gas planning, dive planing and team work, all vital for diving in deep water.
